The Well-Being Sphere of America is the first of its kind online conversation map that uses contextual reasoning to clarify the content. It creates the potential for collaborative conversations between leaders and communities across America.

This visual conversation map offers an accelerated learning approach that communicates multifaceted data in a non-linear graphical format. It streamlines how we observe, process, and interact with complex situation-specific information.
To create this convo map, Spherit identified 10 sectors and 92 facets affecting the mental wellbeing of Americans and displayed these on an animated sphere-chart with crucial notes and sources.

MOTIVATION FOR THIS PROJECT
- To address the fragmented mental health system in America and unify our understanding of it. We like to say the results we achieved are a 'crude look at the whole' (to borrow a phrase from Physicist Murray Gell-Mann.)
WHERE DID THE DATA COME FROM?
- This visual model came into shape after extensively reviewing and synthesizing "existing" nationwide research. This entailed thousands of online searches to gather the data, the results of which include 277 source references on the final animated sphere. Trends within the data were then identified.

- The Well-Being Sphere of America is an elegant comprehensive tool that presents an integrated nationwide “voice” on behalf of the current mental health challenges.

Think of it as a way to get unstuck — to rise up from our entrenched and invested positions in mental health and observe the whole of these issues to better utilize our resources and energize more possibilities for widespread wellbeing.
